Principles of Training

There are 5 Principles of Training. Use the Acronym SPORT to help you remember:

 

S– SPECIFIC
P– PROGRESSIVE
O– OVERLOAD
R– REVERSIBILITY
T – TEDIUM

 

When planning a training programme – you need to consider each of these principles of training.
